About Vickey

    I started grooming in 2012 while attending school to become a Certified Veterinary Assistant. I’ve always loved working with animals, and grooming quickly became something I truly enjoyed—not only because of the before-and-after transformation, but because of the quiet, one-on-one time I get to spend with each pet.

    After working as a veterinary technician for nine years, my family and friends encouraged me to pursue my dream of opening my own grooming business. In 2022, I opened Vickey’s Paw Friendz with the goal of creating a more personal grooming experience for both pets and their owners.

    I want every pet to feel safe and comfortable while they are with me, and I welcome owners who want to stay nearby during their pet’s appointment. That extra time together helps build trust and allows me to develop a real relationship with each fur baby I care for.
