Welcome to Vickey's Paw Friendz. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, our booking and intake forms, and the grooming services we provide. By accessing our site or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Use of Our Website
You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes to learn about our services and book grooming appointments. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use it in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the site or interfere with another user's use.
2. Appointments & Scheduling
Grooming is provided by appointment only. Appointments are scheduled to allow appropriate time for each dog, so we ask that you arrive on time. If you are running late, please contact us — significant delays may require rescheduling so we can give every pet the attention they deserve.
3. Accurate Information & Grooming Consent
When booking or completing intake, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about your dog, including medical conditions, medications, allergies, sensitivities, grooming history, and any behavior or handling concerns. This information helps Vickey provide a safer and more comfortable experience. You will be asked to acknowledge grooming consent and confirm the accuracy of your pet's health and behavior information during intake.
Withholding information about your dog's health, temperament, or handling needs may create safety risks and may affect the services we are able to provide.
4. Pricing & Payment
Any pricing displayed on our website is an estimate. Final charges vary based on your dog's size, coat length, coat condition, grooming needs, and selected services, and will be agreed with Vickey at the time of drop-off. Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless otherwise arranged.
5. Special Handling
Some dogs need additional time, patience, or precautions during grooming. Dogs that are nervous, fearful, sensitive, elderly, or difficult to handle safely may require Special Handling, which allows Vickey to slow down and adjust the grooming experience to your dog's needs. We do not label dogs as "aggressive" and we never shame owners for a dog's behavior, coat condition, or grooming needs.
6. Matting & Coat Condition
Significant matting can require additional time and may affect which grooming styles are safely possible. In some cases, carefully shaving or shortening the coat is the safest option for your dog's comfort and skin health. Vickey will discuss any concerns with you and recommend the approach that best supports your dog's well-being.
7. Cancellations & No-Shows
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as far in advance as possible so we can offer the appointment to another pet. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to book future appointments.
8. SMS Text Messaging Terms (A2P 10DLC)
By providing your mobile phone number and consenting during booking or intake, you agree to receive SMS messages from Vickey's Paw Friendz. These may include appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and service-related notifications. Message frequency varies.
- Age Requirement: You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.
- Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We will not share your mobile number with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes without your consent.
9. Owners Staying During Appointments
Vickey welcomes owners who wish to remain nearby during their pet's appointment when appropriate, because trust and transparency are important parts of the experience. We ask that owners respect the grooming environment and follow any guidance Vickey provides to keep your pet calm and safe.
10. Limitation of Liability
Grooming services are provided with care and in good faith. However, grooming — particularly for dogs with health conditions, matting, sensitivity, or handling needs — carries inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vickey's Paw Friendz is not liable for any injury, illness, or loss arising from services provided, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. You are responsible for disclosing all relevant health and behavior information.

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Vickey's Paw Friendz and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission.
12. Third-Party Links & Services
